2006 Courage Phoenix Summer Calendar
The STA Courage calendar serves to keep our busy members informed about the things we have already planned, or are planning. The schedule and posted activities may change from time to time to accomodate the stuff of life. Meetings and activities on these nights and others support our desire to follow the Five Goals of Courage, namely: Chastity, Prayer and Dedication, Fellowship, Support, and Good Example.
| The theme for the summer will focus on Chastity, so stay tuned for speakers and other events.   |

General Legend
Regular Monday Meetings | We meet on Monday nights at St. Thomas the Apostle parish. If you are not already a member and have not attended a meeting it is a requirement that you call first. You can find our information on the "Contacts" page. These meetings follow the prescribed meeting format of prayer and discussion. It is during these meetings that new members are welcome to come and share or to listen.
First Saturday Devotions | The first Saturday of each month is set aside for developing our spiritual and prayer life before the Blessed Sacrament. The includes traditional Catholic devotions such as The Rosary and Adoration. If you struggle or know a loved one who struggles with SSA, we would be happpy to add your intentions to ours. Send your prayer requests to: couragephx@yahoo.com
Fellowship | Each month we try to set aside some time for fun and friendship. These nights can inlude dinners, movies, nights out, hiking, etc. The activities can take place outside of our normal monthly meetings. These events may not always be scheduled because we do a lot of communicating through e-mail and cell phones.
Special Events | These events may fall within or outside of our regularly scheduled meetings. Although we are actively involved in other regular events and activities, these items have special meaning for Courage and Encourage members of the Catholic faithful in general. This might include lectures, devotions, or other activities in the parish, diocese, or the city of Phoenix as a whole. We will post them when we have advanced notice.   |
